“Of course, we made a few changes to the plans after construction began, but Jerry accepted them all willingly and without charging a change-order fee like other builders do. Jerry was also happy to have us help out in the construction. We did the wiring for our ceiling speakers ourselves and now have a multi-room audio system that’s the envy of our neighbors—and for a fraction of the price a subcontractor would have charged.
“And talk about personal attention! Jerry was on site every day to check on the progress and quality of the construction. He even did some of the work himself.
